I’m Jason R. Johnston: an independent film-maker, photographer, music composer and amateur moviegoer. Chocolate pudding is my Achilles heel. I’ve been published as a photojournalist and the films I’ve been involved with have won various accolades.
Quirks
I’m a Cancer. I suffer from hypomania (an awesome form of manic depression), ADHD, laziness and severe grandiosity. I also occasionally describe myself as pragmatic (or phlegmatic; either will do). My Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) is ISTP: I’m a realist and crafter/artisan.
Photography
I was a photographer for the high school newspaper during my last two years there, but had already worked as a freelancer for local newspapers and the occasional wedding. I think my first paying gig was a friend’s grandparents’ wedding vow renewal ceremony thing…whatever that’s called. Now I’m a badass with a digital rig and a bunch of big, heavy lenses and I shoot hot, nekkid chicks all the time. I’m awesome, and you wish you were me.
